現代版「羅密歐與茱麗葉」似乎沒有那麼浪漫？中國大陸湖南新化一名戴姓女子，因丈夫車禍去世，承受不了外界輿論和內心折磨，選擇帶著2人的一雙兒女跳河，然而就在3人屍體被發現的隔天，丈夫卻奇蹟般的「復活」，出現在眾人面前，令人不勝唏噓。

官方中國紀檢監察報今天報導，2002年至2003年，曾祥明時任重慶市中梁山郵政支局跳磴郵政所郵政儲蓄員，期間少報儲戶儲蓄金額並虛構帳目，截留儲蓄存款76筆，金額達人民幣60餘萬元。
郵局之後實施電腦聯網，眼見虛假紀錄將無所遁形，曾祥明苦思如何銷聲匿跡，終於心生一計。
2003年8月初，曾祥明一大早就去江邊釣魚，隨後將魚竿插在岸邊，皮鞋擺在一旁，偽裝溺水假象潛逃。曾祥明家人當天因他外出未歸，搜索江邊又只見漁具，因此報警求助。
與此同時，曾祥明貪汙事發，大渡口區人民檢察院見他「屍首」久久未被尋獲，因此下達追緝令，但15年來都未能抓到他，一直成為懸案。曾祥明則仿佛真的溺亡，始終杳無音信。
據報導，直到今年7月，大渡口區重新調查此案，終於憑藉技術手段、軌跡分析以及跟蹤蹲守等方式，鎖定曾祥明蹤跡，將他緝捕歸案。
警方發現他15年來化名「馬天順」，躲在江邊以釣魚賣魚維生，並因釣魚技術高超，在當地「魚圈」小有名氣。
