The outcome was a foregone conclusion, but the process allowed a pro-democracy legislator to obtain enough nominations to contest the election. The office of Chief Executive is as unique as the system used to fill the office, distinct from colonial governors and other leaders of Chinese provinces and municipalities. The head of the HKSAR enjoys greater autonomous powers, such as powers to nominate principal officials for Chinese appointment, pardon offenders and appoint judges. 當心大腸癌找上身！ 7成患者天天吃「這」
不少上班族都會帶便當到公司微波當成午餐，不過可能要小心了！大腸癌連續10年蟬聯國內十大癌症之首，當中原因除了愛吃炸物、肉類外，也有調查指出，超過7成的大腸癌病友幾乎有天天吃「菜尾」的習慣，成為潛在的危險因子。
據《良醫健康網》報導，台灣癌症基金會針對大腸癌患者進行調查，發現有高達73.1%的患者，罹癌前1週內食用反覆加熱的「剩菜剩飯」次數高達4次以上；53.3%的患者是蔬菜量攝取太少；其他則是因為沒有正常吃早餐、用餐時間不固定、經常吃宵夜；另外還有睡眠不足、便秘問題，有些人甚至6天才排1次便。
調查結果總結，易罹患大腸癌的飲食特徵為「用餐不定時」、「愛吃油炸、肉類」、「常吃隔夜菜」。台灣癌症基金會執行長暨萬芳醫院研究副院長賴基銘表示，肉類經反覆烹煮會增加大腸壞菌數量，然而一般家庭的隔夜菜又以肉類居多，提醒民眾盡量避免，減少罹患大腸癌的風險。
